Brass

A material that lives with you.

Brass is not a finish. It is a material with a memory.

Copper and zinc, joined into an alloy. Warm in the light, heavy in the hand and a little different with every year. That is why we build with it.

01 · Alloy

Copper and zinc.

Copper gives warmth, zinc gives hardness and a lighter tone. Together they make a metal that can be cut, folded and ground. Both are already in our name.

02 · Light

Warm light.

Brass does not reflect coldly like chrome. It takes in the light and gives it back softly. A room becomes warmer without anything else changing.

03 · Craft

By hand.

Every surface is worked and burnished in our workshop. The colour gradient is created anew each time. No two pieces are alike.

04 · Patina

Brass ages.

Air and touch change bare brass. It becomes darker, more matte, deeper. We create this patina deliberately in the workshop and seal it with clear lacquer. That way it stays as it was intended.

Built to last.

Brass can be melted down and reshaped again and again without losing quality. What is made today lasts for generations.
