Material: burnished brass. Finish: finished by hand and sealed with clear lacquer. Made in Germany.
The brass patina is created in the workshop. Sealing preserves this finish. Use only a soft, slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry afterwards. Acids, salts, moisture, alcohol and unsuitable cleaners can cause stains or discolouration.
Complete care instructionsSome shelves carry objects. JIKU carries character.
Mounted on the wall, it never disappears; it steps back without withdrawing. Brass or stainless steel creates the tension that lifts an object beyond the category of furniture: warmth or coolness, a living surface or precise clarity.
You decide what rests on it. The shelf decides what it does to the room. It seems to hover between wall and air, expressing stability without weight and presence without dominance.
JIKU is made for people who know that a shelf can be more than a shelf. It is the moment a room begins to say something about its owner.
